SMU's Larry Brown, 75, plans on coaching as long as he is 'making a difference'

SMU head coach Larry Brown is as energetic as ever.

Brown, however, is getting up there in age. The 75-year-old is one of the oldest coaches in college basketball. Still, Brown has continued to deflect questions about potential retirement.

Brown recently told ESPN's Hannah Storm that he plans on coaching as long as he is 'making a difference.'

"I want to coach as long as I feel like I'm making a difference," 75-year-old Larry Brown to @HannahStormESPN. "...I can't see me stopping."

Brown has compiled a 94-39 record at SMU, helped end an NCAA tournament drought and led the Mustangs to their third straight 25-win season.
