SMU's basketball season didn't exactly have a storybook ending.
Despite winning 25 games for the third consecutive season, the Mustangs did not compete in March Madness due to a postseason ban.And to make matters worse, the Mustangs fell in the final game of the year and missed out on a chance to claim a share of the AAC regular season title.
