Tom Herman has landed another commit.
Just days after landing a verbal pledge from four-star running back Toneil Carter, the Longhorns reeled in three-star tight end Cade Brewer.
Brewer originally committed to SMU in April and turned away Power Five programs such as Oklahoma, Kansas State and Oklahoma.
Brewer, however, couldn't pass up his hometown school and flipped his commitment shortly after earning an offer from the Longhorns.
At 6-foot-3, 223 pounds, Brewer is ranked as the No. 50 tight end in the country and No. 150 overall prospect in the state, according to 247Sports Composite.
