It might be early, but March Madness will be here before you know it.
SMU missed out on the NCAA tournament last year after being barred from postseason play due to multiple infractions.
However, the Mustangs entered this season with high expectations and hopes of returning to the big dance after a one-year hiatus.
So far, SMU has been up and down without Hall of Fame head coach Larry Brown on the bench. The Mustangs are currently 7-3 with good wins over Pittsburgh and TCU.
SMU's other wins have come against inferior opponents -- recent games against CSU Bakersfield and Delaware State were struggles.
