Lubbock, Texas, Feb. 14, 2026 – The University of South Florida track and field program recorded two new program records and multiple podium finishes during two days of competition at the Jarvis City Invite.

Markel Jones placed second in the preliminaries with a time of 7.77 seconds before advancing with a second-place finish in the semifinals at 7.71 seconds. Jones clocked 7.67 in the finals to claim first place.
