For the second season in a row, the Texas Tech football team must find a way to come up win a win in game twelve of the season to earn if they want to play in a bowl. Last year, Tech had to beat Texas in Austin to get to six wins and was able to do so in improbable fashion thanks to two 4th quarter touchdowns in a 27-23 win.
This year, Tech has to beat a Baylor team that also needs a win to earn the right to play a 13th game. The Bears entered the season, like Texas Tech, predicted to struggle to get to six wins and so far, that has proven to be an accurate prediction.
