The 2018 season didn't go as planned for Texas Tech. The Red Raiders endured multiple injuries at quarterback, finished with a losing record for the third straight year and fired head coach Kliff Kingsbury at the end of the year. But the future looks brighter for Texas Tech.

It's the Alan Bowman show
Alan Bowman found himself as the starting quarterback because of an injury to starter McLane Carter in the season opener. A partially collapsed lung shortened Bowman's season to eight games, but he still threw for 2,638 yards and 17 touchdowns.
