Nine people were displaced from a multi-family house in Hartford after a fire Wednesday night, a fire official said.

No one was injured in the blaze at 205-207 Jefferson St. in the Frog Hollow neighborhood, District Chief Mario Oquendo said. The residents made it out of the house on their own.

The home was determined to be uninhabitable, and three families — seven adults and two children — were displaced, Oquendo said. The fire department’s Special Services Unit and the American Red Cross are working to help them find a temporary home.

The fire was reported about 8:30 p.
