The rain came down and the wind howled as the Rebels took on the Fresno State Bulldogs on Friday, Oct. 16 for a devastating 28-31 loss for UNLV.
With a couple of wins under their belt, the Rebels headed over to Fresno with the expectation that there would be a repeat of last year’s bout against them. Last year, UNLV beat out Fresno State 30-27, a 3 point win to mirror this year’s 3 point loss.
The Scarlet & Gray led going into the first quarter, with a one yard run from George Naufahu and a kick by Nicolai Bornand, but Fresno quickly tied it up with a touchdown from Kilton Anderson.
