Nothing is going right for Jordan Cornish. The sophomore guard went from shooting 48 percent from 3-point range in 2014-15 -- the second best percentage ever for a Rebel in a season -- to a frigid zero percent through six games. Cornish has missed every 3-pointer attempted this season (0-14) and is shooting 29 percent from the field (10-34). Cornish still has confidence from his coach Dave Rice. Expect Rice to let Cornish shoot numerous times to get out of his funk against Prairie View A&M. “Jordan just needs to see the ball go through the hoop a few times,” Rice said before practice on Friday.
