Jalen Poyser scored 18 points and Ike Nwamu had 16 as UNLV closed its nonconference season by coasting to a 103-68 victory over South Dakota at the Thomas & Mack Center.
The Rebels (9-4) connected on 18 of 32 3-pointers while stopping a two-game losing skid and topping 100 points for the second time this season. Derrick Jones Jr. finished with 14 points, Ben Carter had 13, Jerome Seagears added 12 and Dwayne Morgan 10.
Casey Kasperbauer scored 16 points and Tre Burnette had 15 for the Coyotes (7-6).
UNLV did not need 7-foot freshman Stephen Zimmerman Jr.
