Task No. 1 for the UTEP football team, the process that will begin defining the beginning of Dana Dimel's era, is finding a quarterback, and that was always going to be where the attention settled on the first day of spring practice.
Dimel insists there is no depth chart, that all five quarterbacks are in open competition, but snaps in the team session gave an idea of where the Miners are starting from.
