When Tim Floyd decided to retire last month after UTEP's 66-52 loss to Lamar, it was certainly a shock to many and certainly a time when basketball at the school was at a low point.
The team was struggling, the team seemed destined for another long December.
But now three weeks removed from that Monday night in November the Miners seemingly have found some new life.
