The UTEP football team is now down to the last bullet in the gun.
What three months ago looked like the sure win on the schedule, at a UAB team that didn't exist a year ago, now sees the Miners as a three-touchdown underdog looking to avoid the first 0-12 season ever.
They come in with a little offensive momentum after their best output of the year last week against Louisiana Tech, but they are without the player who engineered it, concussed quarterback Ryan Metz.
