Xavier finished off what was arguably its toughest stretch of 2016-17 with an 0-3 record, but the Musketeers are hardly down for the count.
After showing signs of life in the second half at Butler on Saturday, the No. 22-ranked Musketeers (13-5, 3-3 Big East) probably should have nicked No. 7 Creighton on Monday.
As it was, the Bluejays continued the best-ever start in their program's history and improved to 18-1 with a 72-67 win at Cintas Center.
