CINCINNATI, Ohio – Xavier baseball crushed six home runs, using a seven-run fifth to take game two of a weekend series against St. John's, 11-6, at Hayden Field on Saturday.
With the win, XU improves to 15-26 (2-3 BIG EAST). SJU drops to 20-15-1 (5-3 BIG EAST).
· Xavier smashed a season-high six homers in the game – its most since April 30, 2010 when XU hit six against Dayton in a 21-5 win.
· Both Dan Rizzie and Nate Soria left the yard twice, becoming the first XU duo to accomplish the feat this season.
