NEW YORK – was named to the All-BIG-EAST First Team today leading up to the conference championship this weekend. The freshman from Phoenix leads the Musketeers in stroke average and rounds in the 60's.
The selections were made by the league's head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own players.
This marks the first time a freshman has earned all-conference since in 2013 (CAA).
During the season, Fitzpatrick has played in the top position all year. The freshman finished in the top-25 five times, including a tie for 8th at the Rio Verde Invitational in her home state of Arizona.
