INDIANAPOLIS -- Five Xavier University teams were recognized by the NCAA for posting Academic Progress Rate's (APR) in the top-10 percent of their sport during the 2014-15 season.
"This is a remarkable honor for these programs," said Greg Christopher, Xavier University Director of Athletics. "This is a credit to the student-athletes, coaches, our academic staff and the Xavier faculty."
Xavier's baseball, men's and women's tennis, women's golf and women's soccer programs all earned the recognition for earning a perfect 1000 score for 2014-15. This marks the 11th consecutive year that women's tennis has earned a perfect score, making it one of 110 DI programs to earn a perfect score each year the APR has been measured.
