Happy St. Patrick’s Day. I hope everyone survived the first day of the national 2 ½ week college basketball bender. Actually, yesterday’s hoops action was somewhat boring. If not for two yellow-clad, over-rated Big 10 schools which both begin with the letter “M”, all higher seeds would have held serve. Let’s hope for way more bracket carnage in today’s slate of first round games.
XU. Props to the Musketeers for their win last night. They seemed to be reeling early in the second half but responded as if they were last year’s team. Even though I thought that Maryland was over-rated, I thought the Muskies were equally over-rated by the upset predicting pundits.
