The only way Xavier’s men’s basketball team can move forward from Wednesday’s defeat of No. 1 Villanova is to focus on its next opponent, and that’s exactly what the Musketeers have done ahead of Sunday’s 12:30 p.m. game against Seton Hall at the sold-out Prudential Center.
“Our players are past (the Villanova win). There weren’t guys in the locker room dancing and celebrating. It was very, very business-like. We know the type of challenge that Seton Hall presents,” XU coach Chris Mack said in Friday's Big East coaches' conference call.
“But the more we continue to get asked about the games that we’ve played in the rearview mirror, the more our guys are going to worry about that game.
