PHILADELPHIA – Former Xavier men's basketball standout Semaj Christon made his much-anticipated NBA debut last night, checking in during the first quarter of an Oklahoma City Thunder opening night win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
In 15 minutes of action, Christon scored four point and dished out four assists while going 2-for-5 from the floor.
Christon made the opening night roster for OKC after averaging 7 ppg in 18.6 minutes during NBA preseason action.
Christon was a second round (55th pick) selection by the Miami Heat in the 2014 NBA Draft and spent the 2014-15 season with the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA D-League, averaging 18.
