OMAHA, Neb. -Andie Kennard scored the first goal of her Xavier career during a wild 20 opening minutes of the match, but two early scores would be all Creighton would need to secure the win. The Musketeers fell, 6-1, on Sunday afternoon, moving to 7-10-1 on the season 1-7 in BIG EAST play.
Creighton attacked from the whistle, starting a wild first half with a tally in the first two minutes off a header for Taryn Jakubowski off a set piece. The ball soared over Rachel Piccus, who made the start in-goal, sneaking just under the cross bar in the far corner to put CU up 1-0.
