In a blockbuster week on the recruiting trail, Xavier’s basketball program landed a second four-star prospect in wing Naji Marshall.
Marshall, a 6-foot-6, 215-pound player from Washington, D.C., announced his decision to play for Xavier in a Friday Twitter post. Wrote Marshall: “Blessed and very thankful to say I’m fully committed to Xavier University.”
His decision comes on the heels of fellow Class of 2017 member Elias Harden, who pulled the trigger Wednesday. The Musketeers’ robust next class, which could grow even larger, includes June commit Jared Ridder.
Marshall said relationships at Xavier prompted him to select the program over others, like Rhode Island and South Carolina.
