Edmond Sumner made a free throw with .3 left in overtime to lift No. 11 Xavier past Missouri in the Tire Pros Invitational quarterfinals in Orlando.
Sumner was 4-for-11 from the line before making his biggest free throw of the game.
Sumner and J.P. Macura each scored 19 points in the game to lead the Musketeers. Xavier will face Clemson in the tournament semifinals on Friday afternoon.
